Agriturismo, nekaj korakov od jezera Bolsena (v provinci Viterbo), sestavljata dve veliki podeželski kmetiji, ki stojita druga proti drugi, in druge starodavne zgradbe, razporejene povsod naokoli, ki so se nekoč uporabljale kot hlevi, kašče, obrtne trgovine in skladišča.

Agriturismo, nekaj korakov od jezera Bolsena (v provinci Viterbo), sestavljata dve veliki podeželski kmetiji, ki stojita druga proti drugi, in druge starodavne zgradbe, razporejene povsod naokoli, ki so se nekoč uporabljale kot hlevi, kašče, obrtne trgovine in skladišča.

Vsem gostom je na voljo zasebna plaža (na obali jezera Bolsena), potopljena v čudovit vrt, opremljena z ležalniki in mizami. Vsi majhni hišni ljubljenčki so dobrodošli. Od aprila 2012 je kmečki turizem penzion in sprostitvena oaza za konje in jahače. Pravzaprav so na voljo ograde in pašniki. Iz kmetije se lahko odpravite na izlete s konji po cesti Via Francigena ali v okoliške gozdove.

Vsi apartmaji so zgrajeni iz lokalnega vulkanskega kamna in so naravno sveži. Tam je bazen z rahlo slano vodo in zato nežen do kože! Natrijevega hipoklorita, ki je razkužilo, ki ga sol proizvaja z elektrolizo, v kadi pravzaprav ni čutiti: gostje občutijo le rahlo slanost vode.

Ta kmetija pripada naši družini od zgodnjih 1900-ih. Trenutno se je kmetija zelo spremenila od intenzivnega do ekstenzivnega kmetijstva, ki ga pridelujemo: žita (ječmen, mehka pšenica, durum pšenica), koriander, stoječa trava za seno in zelo dobro olje.

V muzeju Agriturismo so zbrana kmetijska orodja, ki so se uporabljala za opravljanje dejavnosti, od tistih za popravilo obutve, do tistih za klet, pridelavo sira, pripravo semenskega zrnja, čiščenje krme in proizvodnja vrvi iz konoplje.

“Unterkunft sehr ordentlich und sauber; sehr ruhig und erholsam; eigener, schöner Badestrand mit schattiger Liegewiese; schöner und gepflegter Pool; trotz hoher Außentemperatur und ohne Klimaanlage waren die Temperaturen im Haus (Casa1) erträglich; das nette Städtchen Bolsena ist mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten zu erreichen; schattiger Parkplatz; sehr nette Betreiberin (Paola), die für alle Fragen jederzeit ein offenes Ohr hatte und immer gut erreichbar war”
